I’ll divide the story of my Europe trip into several entries and I will write it.
Before going to Europe, I met one of my friends living in UAE, in Doha, Qatar. Soon after we met, she said,
“People are sometimes arrested because they take pictures in the city. The pictures sometimes include something which are relates to political things that they shouldn’t take. So you shouldn’t take a picture here.”
I said, “Really?! It’s scary. Okay I’ll never take a picture.”
That’s why I took some pictures only at the Qatar airport. Doha was a more modern city than I expected. After coming back to Japan, I checked about that and found out that taking photos is not allowed even in the airport. Oh my gosh!! But I think the pictures I took would be no problem.
The Qatar airport is very large. It took about 15 minutes by bus to get from the gate to the airplane. Passengers for the economy class got on the bus, but passengers for first class each got to ride in a luxury limousine. This is my overactive imagination, but they must been served a glass of champagne. When I saw the people wearing the white national costume, everyone seemed rich. This is also my overactive imagination.
This airport is still under the construction and is expanding rapidly and will be completed in 2015. What’s more, they are making the building only for royal families. How rich they are!
