My second last entry reminded me of this topic.
Before going abroad, I always look over information about a country I go to. I read some information as usual before I went to Taiwan. Then I found a strange headline on the website.
"Chinese government notified Taiwanese government that they don't issue multi visas to bald-headed people."
I'll translate part of the article. This is not my opinion.
"It is well known that bald-headed people have been finding it difficult to get a multi visa from Chinese government for a long time because their appearance is regarded as strange. It's easy for them to impersonate a different person using wigs."
According to a big travel agency in Taiwan, they got a call about this from a local Chinese officer, and although they didn't get any official document, they put this information up on their website. After they knew that it was wrong, they forgot to remove it so it had kept on running for a while and this wrong information was spread.
O_o;!
