It Seemed Like Teleportation !

The next morning after having stayed up all night, I was taking the fast train to come back home. When I awoke from my sleep, I was still one station away from the one that's near my house.

Then I heard the announcement from the train staff, "This train is bound for Tokyo." I thought the announcer had made a mistak, but something was wrong.

I was still sleepy, so I couldn't understand what was happeing completely. I certainly got on the train which was bound from Tokyo to -----, but this train was headed towards Tokyo.
When the train arrived at the next station, it was not the station which I always use.

I was getting further away from my house gradually, so I got off the train and got into the train on the opposite line.

It took me a short while to understand the problem.
This train goes as far as the terminal and then returns.
I was stupid !
I made some ornaments for Christmas, sinve I was awake completely after coming back home.
I might have caught a cold.=(

An ideal person

I am writing this entry while listening to this song. It's so sweet !

I want to be someone who:
1) can play the concerto "Iber" with an orchestra.
2) use my private time better.
3) can have fun and a nice personality.
4) contribute to society.
5) is a polyglot.

I have heard this before.
"Writing down your dream is the shorter way to make ti come true"
I'm not sure, but if so, I want to be rich and have a lot of much money, money, money,....

Just kidding!

Sometimes I start reading a book at night, and the sound of a delivering newspaper makes me notice that the morning has come. No2 is troublesome

This is a pessimistic topic.

My mood vigorously fluctuated from day to day last week.
I was depressed and lost my confidence, but the next day's occurrence made me happy.
Such an occurrence has happened several times.

This is one such episodes.
On this business trip, I brought cpopied music sheets to lessen the weight of my luggage.
When I was playing music on the stage, I realized that I couldn't see the music sheet clearly because of the backlighting of a strong spotlight.

I managed to play it, but it was really terrible.
I didn't check the spotlight in the rehearsal. I had been really stupid.

If I had used my music sheet as usual, or if I had memorized the music, it might not have happened. If I had practiced harder, I might not have been so badly shaken by the ocurrence.

Even I am writing this entry now, I start to want to escape.
I can't stop thinking about, what if.... what if.....

I can't get back my lost time. I'd like to recover. I know how to deal with it.
The only way is to practice my instrument.

It's good to earn money with my favorite things, but it's hard and painful sometimes.
My motivation for my job has been falling off recently.

This is about a big personal news.

I heard some big news at the hair salon yesterday.

I didn't know that a jazz pianist HIROMI's hairstylist and mine are the same person !
She is my favorite pianist who lives in the States.
It is a small world, isn't it?

She has a tight schedule. If you are interested in jazz, please check it out.
She may come to your country.

I had cut my hair drastically short, and it seems like an avant-grarde style, so it isn't appropriate for my work. I like it but it may be troublesome.^^;

After I went back to home, I made a green tea.
It makes me relax.
I like those times because I can feel the Japanese traditional culture.
Yesterday was a refreshing day.

My habit or My disease.

When I was a second year pupil, a math teacher told me,

"Read the next problem."

I stood up and read the multiplication problem.
I don't know how it is now, but at that time in Japanese elementary schools, students stood up to answer the teacher's question. I don't know why.

(question)
There are 15 boxes in which 64 apples are.
There are 14 boxes in which 12 oranges are.
How many apples and oranges are there in total ?

The teacher shouted, when I finished reading it.

"Be quiet!"

My class was very noisy. She kept scolding, so I had to keep standing.
It seemed as if I would be scolded at me, but I was thinking about that her scolding didn't include me, but then, to my surprise, she said:

"Did you listen to her reading ? You didn't did you ? So you didn't catch her misreading."
What ? I misread ? I thought in my mind. I didn't realise at all, and she said.

"She switched the ones and tens places. Ari san, please read it again."

I was embarrassed that she pointed out my misreading with a big voice in front of my classmates. Moreover, I was shocked that I had unconsiously misread it. Perhaps, I read the below.

(question)
15-51 boxes 64-46 apples.
14-41 boxes 12-21 oranges.

After that I recognized my habit, so from then on I've always paid attention to numbers.
When one of my friends, who knows my habit was studying in NYU, she sent me an e-mail.
"I found your symptoms in a TOEFL text. According to this, you have a disorder.

She pasted the sentence, but I've forgotten it because she sent it to me ten years ago. If I don't pay attention to bumbers I mistake 9428 for 9482. Recently, this habit appears when I type English sentences.
I often type. ex) about -abotu, sent-setn.
I wonder why my habit doen't appear when I write Japanese. I think everyone makes such a mistake. I don't need a cure, because I can live without its hitch.

Study method to realize your dream.

Studay method to realize your dream.
This is the title of a book which was written by Shin Ito.
I found it yesterday, so I would like to write about the book today.

The author teaches law at a college.
Of course he passed a bar examination.
In his first class, on the assumption that the student had passed the bar examination, he has students write a paper concretely about their " Experience of a bar examination".
This experience is not relative to being a lawyer, but a process of what students did to qualify as a lawyer.

Students will know what they should do after writing a paper.
This book includes how to deal with a setback and so on.

This book seems useful for me.!
Do you see my point ?

Terrible sunburn !

My friends invited me to a barbecue party which was held in a river side of deep in a mountain in August.

That day was cloudy but I applied sunscreen to the parts of skin which were exposed to the sun just in case. And then I changed my clothes to a sleeveless shirt from a T-shirt just before I left my house, so I forgot to apply it to my shoulders. I enjoyed the barbecue with naked shoulders all day.
When I was driving a car on the way to my house, my shoulders began to swell and become red.
The picture was taken at that time.

I was optimistic about the sunburn until finally some action had to be taken.
One week after the barbecue, I went to a dermatologist.
Now, an ugly scar remains on my shoulders. It seems like a shoulder pad.
I wonder if it will disappear soon. You mustn't make light of a cloudy day.

A One in a Million Chance !

I went to an English lesson on Sunday by train in Shinjyuku.
In the lesson, I was able to learn about reading, listening, pronunciation.
It was very instructive.

Today's topic is not a story of the lesson.
I'd like to write about a chance occurrence that happened on that day.

I sat next to a foreign lady in the train on my way to the lesson. When I got on a train after the lesson, I saw the same person who stood next to me earlier. The person was the lady that I saw in the morning.
Sven hours had already passed after I saw her, and the trains run every three minutes in Tokyo. At the Shinjyuku Station of Sunday, there is a considerable amount people. It looks like just after a big concert.

Can you believe it, despite the circumstances ?
Shoud I talk to her if I see again ? It's just kidding. If I do such a thing, she would be scared.
I have experienced similer situations several times before.
In another case, I'm thinking of my friend who I often get an E-mails from.
What are the chances !?

Terrible flight !!

I went to Okayama on business last Saturday.

It takes about 1 hour by plane to Okayama from Haneda airport. As the airplane was descending to land, it began to rapidly soar back up into the sky. This happened twice. Then we listened to the flight attendant's announcement :"We can not land in the Okayama airport because of the bad fog, so we have to change our destination. We will head for Itami airport."

Oh-Nooooooo!!

Nobody complained about it, because we were caged birds. After we headed for Itami airport (O-saka), airlines officers distributed tickets for the express train in an accustomed way when we arrived. I missed the rehearsal of the next day's concert, because it took about 7 hours to Okayama from Haneda. According to the captain, the Okayama airport is often fogged over, because it is surrounded by the mountains. It is hard for the airline to secure customer's train fare whenever weather is bad.

Ann Sally's concert ♪

I went to Ann Sally's concert last Saturday.
Do you know this singer ? She has an amazing voice.
Her voice moves a lot of people, some were moved to tears.
Moreover, she is funny ^^

She has many titles: doctor, singer, mother of two children, wife, and a third generation Korean - Japanese.
If you have time, please try to listen to her music.

Thank you for coming to my first blog.
