A Whim

Writing something by indulging in your fancies is perhaps
the best way to reach your deepest thoughts and overall theme.
Express only the thoughts flashing through your mind.
I'm writing this in the afternoon before night falls.
Night is the appropriate time to observe and understand
what's going on at daytime because it's a different world at night.

Since I had nothing to write about today,
I tried translating some phrases written by a French writer in 1959.
They're from a long time ago, but I definitely agree with them.
It's well known that people tend to become emotional at night, isn't it?
I've heard that if people write a love letter at night,
they should read it again in the morning when they're calmer.
